A Workshop on How to Create an Art Travel or Garden Journal

Have you ever wanted to create a painted journal of your garden images or travel memories? This is your opportunity to enjoy those happy experiences all over again. In this workshop you will play with gesture drawing, watercolor media and collage to create a journal with paintings from your personal travel and garden photographs. This is an introductory workshop in a supportive atmosphere for anyone interested in art journaling or painting. We will help you choose photographs, show you how to pick out focal points and use gesture (simple line drawings) to produce lovely journal images. Your drawings will be brought to life on the page with a choice of acrylics, watercolor paint or pencils, or collage. The small class size will allow personal attention from instructor.

Vineyard-Garden Designs
Vineyard Garden Designs is a line of illustrated greeting cards based on my original watercolor/collage designs. The cards feature a whimsical and vibrant look at nature and everyday items. As a bonus the back of each card features one of my recipes making them a keepsake.
